October projects

finished!

I made a little purse/bag for my daughter's Birthday along with a credit card holder not shown.

I really am not sure about the button and have decided to make a  floppy material flower instead.

Next, is one of the Halloween treat bags I made for the grandkids.

The design is from Cricut Design Space.

I used my infusible ink pens to apply the design to laser paper, then ironed it on to my canvas bags.

Since they are not Cricut made canvas bags the design came out a bit lighter.

That's it, I've made a bunch of cards and needed to mail them out so quickly, I forgot to snap pictures.

Just a few of ...!

my things! First two cards are made using some of the new goodies I won and things from my stash.

The cubies are from a pattern on YouTube by Debbie Shore.

I used chipboard in-between the outer print and the lining.  I'm going to fill these with art goodies for the grandkids.

I thought these would look cool on their desk, rather than the plastic boxes I originally made for them. Still need to do some tweaking on them, almost finished.

Well that's it for now, the few things I've finished along with trying to finish a couple bitty teddy's for a nephew's children.

I found and easier for me pattern over at SewToys.com, I struggle with cut faces and so again, another work in progress.

Off I go...blessings and hugs, Lori m

Thank you....

and so blessed!

Big thank you to Patti...Cherish Each Precious Day Blog... for the fabulous Susan Opal blog prize, I've never felt so lucky and now have so many choices to play with.

I'm going to have a lot of fun with the grandkids crafting with all these goodies.

Grandma will be the new home school art teacher.

Excited can't even explain how I feel, before...my stamps and dies, all fit into one little container which fit in my hands. I now...have many beautiful choices and can't wait to get busy!

Next....I had purchased this faux leather for a project that didn't work out, it was on sale clearance and cost me $3.00. Rather, than it just going unused....I decided to try making a bag.

After watching a few YouTube videos, I decided to add two pockets to the inside lining and a magnetic clasp rather than velcro.

Another accomplishment for me altering a pattern in anyway.

I've been trying to grasp and learn sewing for a few years now and finally.....I might stand a chance lol.

So...that's it for today...back to resting, blessings and hugs, Lori m
