My day....

yesterday.... was about me... lol.

I needed some new Tee shirts, and so..... I decided bling a few I had...purchased that were just plain boring.

After watching a great easy to do.... YouTube video.... on cutting Tee shirt designs, I gave that a go too. ( Quite out of my normal, I must admit. )  Something different.... to switch my wardrobe up a bit.

Here's my designs for the week lol.  I used some of my own hand drawn creations, then added designs from Cricut Design Space.

A few were cotton Tee-Shirts which heat vinyl was used. Since I had a couple polyester Tee's on hand....why not try out the new Cricut Infusable Ink markers?

Might I add...if you haven't tried them run quick and enjoy...oh the fun being able to create your own drawings into washable Tee's, that won't peel off....FANTASTIC indeed!

I can see a future of my photos becoming custom family Tee-shirt designs. The wheels in my head are going round and round!

Can you see the Happy Dance happening here?  Now that I've tested the items..... time to start making holiday gifts.

Being a HUGE  Game Of Thrones fan, you'll notice, the GOT inspired creations!

That's it for today, enjoy, blessings and hugs, Lori m

Pumpkins......

easy, funky and just so darn cute. I found an easy idea...Pinterest inspired where you buy the little Styrofoam pumpkins from the dollar store to use.  Much quicker than my sewed one.  I also made the covered toilet paper roll... pumpkins.  These by far, are my favorites.

I also, made my first beginners table runner, it was easy just like the video on youtube said.

Sorry, I didn't save the link, someday, I will be able to create a pretty quilted runner, and more, I'm just not there yet.

Sewing is still one of my newer crafting passions, I took a few basic lessons, and the rest will be books and online tutorials. I haven't anyone to teach me or any place local that gives more detailed lessons. Open to suggestions from all you amazing quilters.

OK...here's my latest fun things.

Guess this is it for now, blessings and hugs, Lori m

Sunday....

beautiful day and a good day for me to post another card I made for a challenge over at Lavinia World Challenges.

I'm making this challenge just in time, it closes in 1 day... so hurry quick lol.

For this card... I decided to use their Christmas Eve Christmas stamp, it's just so whimsical and pretty. In the upper right corner, I used the Mini Holly, just the right size to add a little something to my card.

My stamp edges are colored with a marker and then I added a little bling with my glitter gel pens...perfect, and of course it looks prettier in person.

That's it for today, taking a TV day break, blessings and hugs, Lori m

October 12th.

Here is my Challenge Entry, I used a different card stock, it has a shimmer to it and for me...taking a photo clear wasn't working.

Also... entering in a new challenge...Let's Craft and Create

The stamps are part of an old stamp set I've had from Close to my Heart. I stamped in orange and went over parts with my glitter pen to try and give it a little more defination.

Orange....

and white are the colors for the Challenge over at Double D's Challenges. Their DT put together some gorgeous inspiration photo, I just love being inspired.

You have until October 13th to join in. Here's my go at the colors.

The stamp is an old one I've had from.... Close to My Heart, Argyle background papers from Echo Park.

I realized this had a wee bit of to much color besides orange and white, LOL sometimes I get to caught up in making cards.... I forget to review the challenge details.

I'm going with the excuse the yellow jacket stung my finger.....I had a reaction and now dealing with a hand infection from it, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. ( Honestly, it really happened, ouch!)

Here's is my other challenge card.

Blessings and hugs, Lori m
