Exciting news....

I'm doing the Happy Dance, back on the Outlawz Tuesday Color Challenge.

Gosh I missed being on this team and it feels so good to be a Design Team Member along with the wonderful ladies over there.

This challenge runs for two weeks starting July 30th-August 13th. We hope you'll join us.

Here is the pretty monochrome yellow challenge inspiration photo.

Here's my DT Challenge entry: I chose a Z-Fold card style which is hard to see from my photo. The digi stamp is one from A Day For Daisies which I acquired awhile ago.

Well that's it for today, off to dance around, I'm still on cloud nine being part of this wonderful team.

A new

challenge site for me. I'm giving it a whirl over at Lavinia World Challenges.

Using one of my Wolf stamp Maka and glossy accents here's my first attempt. I love wolves and this stamp had my name on it, glad it finally came back into stock.

Here's my card:

The other stamps were from stamp sets I had on hand. Enjoy!

Had a little hiccup on my blog this morning with a new post....stay tuned for great news tomorrow.

Its time

for Double D's challenge. So many ideas and so many good challenge choice to choose from the design board. Stop over and check out all the beautiful DT inspirational cards and member entries.

Here's my take and as you see I chose the black and gold theme. Using my Cricut Maker along with my We R Memories foil quill pen and foil this is what I came up with.

Really loving the this foil quill pen it almost looks like metal on the card.

OK that's it for today, blessings and hugs, Lori m

Another try

at Clean and Simple card style over at AAA Cards CAS Challenges.

I think, that I've grasped the card style better this challenge and for me not adding all the little bling is indeed a challenge. One could get use to making these especially since it's an easier style to do without electricity. With the heat and humidity so high this week, my papers aren't cutting properly so my crafty tools have been taking a vacation lol.

OK, drum roll......here is my CAS challenge entry for over at AAA Cards CAS challenges.

I've decided to enter the top Smores card and the Bright and Merry is just for fun.
Oh well, back to kicking back with my feet up, enjoy.

Weddings....

and wedding cards for a challenge over at The Outlawz Festive Friday challenge.

I decided to dip into my stash...you know the papers and goodies you just keep and never want to use because you like them to much?

Here's my challenge card....

Off I go ....we are having a heat wave and its to hot to craft this week lol.

Babies....

and baby cards!

I decided to use some old techniques I learned sometime ago. I added and welded the word baby on the edge of the card. I decided to stagger the letters rather than just following in a straight line. (Not sure I liked this effect).

This time, I designed and cut out using my Cricut Design Center software which work perfect.

Problem is....I changed the card design after lol.....guess that's what DIY crafting is all about, making changes to fit your ideas.

This card is going to be entered over at The Outlawz Color Challenge for this Challenge is a Tic Tac Toe board.

I'm following the Challenge upper left corner, diagonally to bottom right corner. My card has buttons on the baby outfit, ;).

I also used my We R Memories quill foil pen and gold foil for my image, flowered patterned papers, embossed back ground and finished off adding cut out white letters for the card edge Baby. As you can see I decided to use a larger card style rather than my normal 4x6 size.

Well, here you have it my back to crafting, refreshing what I've done in the past and off to crafty land to try new ideas. Its a wee bit cooler today so I must take advantage of the time

Enjoy, Blessings and hugs, Lori m

Yummy card

two, using the freebie Sandy provided over at Scribbles Designs Challenge.

I decided to try the Scribbles challenge again using a bigger Popsicle this time, much easier to see and to showcase the adorable and generous digi  freebie.

I'm trying to push myself out of my comfort zone with new challenges and different ideas. Some work for me, while others not so well lol.

Here's my 2nd card......

Pretty happy with the way this turned out.

This card was colored this with my water color pencils and then I blended the designs using a little baby oil on a q-tip.

For me it works, the butterfly is one of Anna Griffen foil designs which I colored instead.

Sweet treat design by Sandy over at Scribbles Designs.

card or box...

or a card box for something different.

Theme is optional... Patriotic for a challenge over at the Scor-Pal blog.

Here's my take on things.....

Using my Scor-Pal, paper trimmer, embossing folders and sizzix dies....a few stamps and done.

No power needed, just a little elbow grease and my hands.

Clean and Simple cards....

elegant, stylish and just beautiful.

I found a new to me challenge AAA Cards, for CAS style projects and decided to give it a try. This is out of my comfort zone so it's indeed a challenge.

The theme is optional twist Christmas in July. I also made a couple other CAS cards shown below.

Entering this Christmas card in the challenge.

I'm quite pleased with the way they turned out, I still feel like bling is needed so I put my crafty goodies away and stopped with these.

Party boxes

wedding favor boxes and more.

With the heat and humidity here in NY and no A/C my craft room is lonely.  I have some goodies to craft with that require no electric...loving the fun things I can still make.

Using my SCOR-PAL and one amazing tutorial Lois-Fold-Over box... I made my version of a Wedding box or wedding bridesmaid as it shall be.

My version....

I love the way it turned out and this box can be used for so many gift ideas, thank you SCOR-PAL and for the tutorials on your site.

Now did you know SCOR- PAL also has a challenge blog?  I found it while looking and admiring the many blogs on the net.

So...here I go to enter my box in the current SCOR-PAL challenge July #61....Anything goes with more than one score which my project has.

Wish me luck.....blessings and hugs, Lori m

Purse....

gift boxes, party favors???

Today, I decided to make a little gift box for the challenge over at The Outlaws Tuesday Color Challenge rather than my usual cards.

A Day For Daisies is closing it doors and they are sponsoring this challenge before they go.

Hurry on over to The Outlaws Challenges for a chance to win some amazing digi's. After that... be sure to stop on over to A Day For Daisies, fill your cart up before they close up shop....you won't be sorry.

Choose 3 colors from the beautiful palette and twist is to use a flower.

The design team has put together some amazing designs for inspiration, that always helps me get my mojo rolling.

Here's my entry for the challenge.

In honor of the challenge sponsor A Day For Daises....I decided to use a couple of their images on my box.

The purse svg. cutting design is one I've collected over time and I added a front cut out circle so that I could showcase the adorable little bird.

That's it for today...enjoy, blessings and hugs, Lori m
