A Surprise....

for me... in my email yesterday....WOOT...WOOT...doing the Happy Dance again.

For those of you that played along in Lisa's ( D'ecosse Dynamite Doodles)... fun 12 Days of Christmas challenge and completed all of the challenges... you received the fabulous Digital D'ecosse Dynamite Doodles papers pack!

Yes....I made all 12 days of challenges and so glad I did, the papers are fabulous....thank you Lisa!

For anyone whom didn't complete the 12 days, you will be able to purchase the papers here ...buyScribblesdesigns.blogspot.com.

Well....being so excited, I couldn't wait to try out the papers.....I found that many will work for other occasions and thus..... my Digital Birthday card was created.

I used three of Lisa's papers on my card.....
1. Gold Foil behind the Happy Birthday sentiment
2. Marble Texture Green
3. Gift Boxes

The adorable Moo Cow design was a generous holiday freebie from Kris at Imagine That Digi's. if you missed the freebie, you can purchase the Digi set Party Cow 3 in her store. Thank you Kris!

The other digital papers and goodies are part of my Serif Craft Artist program.

There you have it...one fantastic digital Birthday card ready to send!

Blessings and hugs, Lori m

Penguins anyone.....

I just adore Penguins and yet have none in my stash.

I donated my penguin stamps and many of my other rubber stamps along with crafty goodies to folks whom work with children and needed supplies. Great cause and kids love to stamp cards.

So, after looking at many adorable Penguin stamps and digi's....I decided to draw my own whimsy Penguin using shapes and my Sure Cuts a Lot software program. Here's what I came up with...no laughing please, I've not drawn anything in a long time.

The trees, scrolls, hat, snowman and snowflakes were all free in the program.

The Penguin and his snowboard were my drawings using basic shapes and editing the nodes until I was happy.

This next card was made using a freebie by Ann Fenton found on The Outlawz Challenges site in which she so graciously shared her art work.

OK...I will be entering the following challenges:

Scribbles Designs
Double D's Challenges
DL. ART Winter Sport Challenge
IKE's M Challenge

That's all for now, blessings and hugs, Lori m

Flannel....

Flowers, another gorgeous flower bouquet digi, thanks to Beccy over at Beccy's Place.

Very pretty, so many ideas for this digi however, I chose a plainer card style to showcase the beautiful floral design.

Using a plain square card style, I cut the window with my Spellbinders nestables, used my Darcy faux wood embossing folder, then finished using my Martha Stewart scallop punch for the bottom.

I added a few rhinestones and some glitter to finish off my card.

UPDATE:....I won...I won...over at IKE's World Challenges!  Thank you IKE, SALL and everyone....doing the happy dance.

one day!

Cards....Winter is coming and so are the Spring tulips!

Here are a couple of cards I made using two of the freebies from IKE's World digi's.  Thank you IKE!

Winter is coming...card made using IKE's Knight and one of my card stock papers from DCWV. I cut the front out using my Spellbinders Nestables. A little glitter and colored in using my watercolor pencils.

Windmill is another freebie thanks to IKE which was colored with my watercolor pencils and the front is cut using my Spellbinders nestables.

It was a good day to make cards by coloring and cutting on my Cuttlebug rather than using my Cricut.

Enjoy, blessings and hugs, Lori m
