The Outlawz…..CAS03062016 Challenge.

We hope you'll join us over at The Outlawz Challenges this week for the Sounds of Spring Challenge.

What animal or sound reminds you of spring, for an added twist, use musical notes on your card or projects.

This month our Sponsor is Lisa of Decosse's Dynamite Doodles, I hope you stop on over to Lisa's place and check out her beautiful collection of digital designs.

Winning Monthly Prize:
Winner will get to choose one set from the specified choices below.

Flower Power Kit, the Mommy Dearest Kit, the Tag Grab Bag 1:  Cotton Candy Collection, the Beauty of Butterflies Kit or the Living on the Edge set.  Winner will get to choose the set they want from the specified choices.

Here's my DT Challenge entry for this week. I used a beautiful shade of blue digi paper from our sponsors collection….Living on the Edge…and chose one of the pretty dragonfly brads from her collection ……Naturally Color Brads.

Since my hand and wrist was still in a cast, I chose to make this card digitally using my Silhouette Cameo and designer program, then turned it to a print and cut card.  Easy, and useful for so many occasions when you need a card on hand.

Update:  I was  one of the lucky winners over at Holley's blog, from Miss Daisy Stamps , woot woot, made my day! Thank you Holley and Miss Daisy!

Enjoy, blessings and hugs, Lori m

Dr. Sonia's inspiration…..

to reach out of my comfort zone.  I just love all the tutorials and design projects shared by Dr. Sonia.  Truly stunning keepsakes. Many Congratulations on her over 5 million page views, stop on over and wish her congrats.

I've decided to enter a boxwood wreath I made for my daughter a few weeks back.  The bird is a print and cut file I made from one of my own photos taken and the boxwood die cut is also a file I hand drew and converted. Everything was designed in my Silhouette Design Studio program and Adobe Photoshop, then cut using my Silhouette Cameo.

After everything was cut, I inked and chalked the edges to give it a little more detail. I've seen similar files on the internet, many better than mine however, I was pleased with my end results.

Here's my DT entry using an adorable Angelfish file from our sponsor. The Angel Fish are layered with a background, the little fins pop out, I added some white dots with my pen, then used my chalks for add a little more detention to the look.

The background paper is from K&Company and the stamped sentiment was from Unity Itty Bitty Stamps which I've had for years.

There you have it for my challenge entry this week, I hope this gives you a little inspiration.

A Little…..

Behind... Birthday Card.

Using the adorable "A Little Behind"… set... I won over at "Imagine That! Creative Playground" blog site, I was easily able to create this too cute Birthday card.

How much easier it was using the already colored in digi's, along with my Silhouette Cameo to make a print and cut card. So working with one hand in a cast, was a little less stress.
