Reverse Canvas….

thank you, Redora Lee Designs for this amazing idea. Once I saw this idea and challenge... I knew it was for me.

I've had a canvas hanging around that I messed up on and needed to find a way to make good use of.

Well…..here you go…... it worked out perfectly, looks great on my dresser slash sideboard.

Love, Love, this idea, a shadow box frame in a different way.

What I did:

Using the pretty gold stripe washi tape from my blog anniversary win, I covered the exposed edges.  Next I added a pretty lace on top which was from an amazing RAK received. Then on the top corners to brass Cupids, bottom corners a few glass pearls, pretty flowers and row of pearls with a Close to My Heart sentiment.

Using a free tree dingbat, I created my own digital Tree of Life cutting file in my Silhouette Designer Software program. I mirrored the image, welded the two pieces together and cut the file on my Silhouette Cameo.

The pretty lacy stamped corners are part of a file named Scalloped Eyelet Banner which can be found over at ScrapCutsbyJudy

I fell in love with this banner the minute I saw it, so many pretty decorating ideas just flowing through my head. Check out the other files in Judy's store, she has quite a collection to choose from.

Enjoy, Blessings and hugs, Lori m
