Happy...

Holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

I had to share some of the very special Christmas cards I received, and one awesome RAK.

Many thanks to all, and I'm so sorry my photos don't show the true beauty of each card and all the love and detail in them.

The photo on the upper right, shows the gift cards I made with the awesome RAK I was gifted.

I had....so much fun using the die cuts and they cut lovely with my Crafters Companion Gemini.

Quick post today, and off I go..... blessings and hugs, Lori m

Oh what

fun it is to play in a Beccy's Place Challenge today!

OK, OK, so, "I can't sing well either LOL"!

Using a few beautiful freebies the (Snowman and Trees- inside left) and a wonderful Tunnel Card tutorial, here's what I came up with.

Since my color skills are not the greatest, I chose the colored digi versions.

Thank you Beccy for the freebies and inspiration!

You can find the pretty trees and snowman along with so many other digi's to choose, in her shop.

Digital anyone????

I've been using my digital Scrapbook program Craft Artist and its unfortunate they closed the doors a few years back.

So, utilizing some of the features and one of IKEs freebies (Temptress), this is what I came up with for my challenge card.

Entering in IKEs World Challenges, check out the range of digi's, there is something for everyone's creative touch. I decided to create something a bit different over my usual.

Digital.....

card this time.  All digital designed in my Craft Artist digital program no longer available sadly.

The digi is a freebie from Scribbles Designs Challenges, thank you Sandy.
With the holidays approaching quickly I'm a bit short on time and so opted to go all digital with this card.

Isn't that the cutest snow folks couple ever?

Challenge Inspirational photo, so pretty, the bright colors are very festive and welcoming.
Remember to add your Twist.. ornament!

My Challenge DT entry.....

I chose an image from our Sponsor for my first card, I just love this digi....Tree of Raggedy Hearts...I have so many ideas on how you can add this digi to projects. Just lovely!

I've added two more cards using the Challenge theme, the below card is  a 3D effect.  The text was done using my Cricut draw feature and a glitter pen.

  i

For the last card, I used just the ornament from the same Anna Griffin design. Then I added a few snowflakes, bling and done.

The colors are much darker and brighter than showing.

My craft are has very poor lightening as with the inside of my home.

I've yet found a way to get my pictures to show the true colors, any tips or ideas would be greatly welcomed.

So there you have it, my challenge card spins.

Little Tree....

that I made and will pass along to brighten someone's day!

The tree is  Pinterest inspired and the doilies are cut from card stock using designs from the Cricut Design Space.

For this tree, I decided to use the same patterned material rather than three different prints. I think, I like it better, you can see the other two trees here in the photo.

Next, I'm going to try and make a larger version.... where I can add a few ornaments, wish me luck.

There you have it, little hand sewn Christmas trees!

With the holidays approaching and time is short, I'm rushing to finish up my last few projects.

So.........Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!

Enjoy, blessings and hugs, Lori m

Charlie Brown...

tree.  I knew once I saw Patti's tree, and looked in my Scor Pal book this is the tree for me to make.

It did take me the best of two days to complete and guessing my glue didn't dry quick enough as things are tilted.... sigh.

I added empty ribbon spools of different widths... for a quirky tree look. Well....it's quirky alright and not quite what I had in mind. So this first attempt is my Charlie Brown version, the next one will be as meant to assemble lol.

Same tree different photos, I added some pearls, mini lights and some cut out decorations and text words.

The tree was all scored on my 1/8" Scor Pal and cut with my trimmer.

Decorations are all cutouts done on my Cricut machine along with the text words. All in all, when the lights are on in the dark, its pretty cute.

I'm going to enter this is the Scor Pal Challenge.

Enjoy, blessings and hugs, Lori m
