April 7th IKEs and Outlawz

Long Post today featuring two Challenges...

First up, IKEs World Challenges

Anything Goes, option of Paper Piecing challenge #131 over at IKEs World Challenges .

Please come and join in the fun for a Paper Piecing Challenge.

Using one of IKE's new designs the Tortoise, I created the fun card below, isn't that Tortoise the cutest?

Using IKE's digi design Wolf #3, I put together this paper pieced card.

I also made a Wolf #3 Sweatshirt using Sure Cuts A Lot software to vectorize the design, then used my Silhouette Cameo to cut things out.

Wolves have always fascinated me from little on, one of my favorite animals and there are many different stories, legends, to be found. I find wolves both beautiful and mysteries, always curious and then some.

For assembling this card I used:
1. IKE's Art Wolf #3 and Tortoise
2. Tree die cut from Close to My Heart
3. Pre cut cards from Michael's Craft Store
4. Tim Holtz die cuts
5. Stampin Up markers die cuts for scalloped circles
6. Bit of washi tape and a glitter pen for highlights
7. Cricut Iron on White vinyl

  4. Wonderful projects, Lori. My son is also a lover of wolves. When he made Eagle Scout I cross stitched a wolf for him. It turned out beautifully. Love you projects with the tortoise and the wolf. Great designs. Fun card for the Outlawz challenge too.
