Happy...

Holidays, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

I had to share some of the very special Christmas cards I received, and one awesome RAK.

Many thanks to all, and I'm so sorry my photos don't show the true beauty of each card and all the love and detail in them.

The photo on the upper right, shows the gift cards I made with the awesome RAK I was gifted.

I had....so much fun using the die cuts and they cut lovely with my Crafters Companion Gemini.

Quick post today, and off I go..... blessings and hugs, Lori m

OK, OK, so, "I can't sing well either LOL"!

Using a few beautiful freebies the (Snowman and Trees- inside left) and a wonderful Tunnel Card tutorial, here's what I came up with.

Thank you Beccy for the freebies and inspiration!

Digital anyone????

I've been using my digital Scrapbook program Craft Artist and its unfortunate they closed the doors a few years back.

So, utilizing some of the features and one of IKEs freebies (Temptress), this is what I came up with for my challenge card.

Entering in IKEs World Challenges, check out the range of digi's, there is something for everyone's creative touch. I decided to create something a bit different over my usual.

Digital.....

card this time.  All digital designed in my Craft Artist digital program no longer available sadly.

The digi is a freebie from Scribbles Designs Challenges, thank you Sandy.
With the holidays approaching quickly I'm a bit short on time and so opted to go all digital with this card.

Isn't that the cutest snow folks couple ever?

Challenge Inspirational photo, so pretty, the bright colors are very festive and welcoming.
Remember to add your Twist.. ornament!

My Challenge DT entry.....

I chose an image from our Sponsor for my first card, I just love this digi....Tree of Raggedy Hearts...I have so many ideas on how you can add this digi to projects. Just lovely!

I've added two more cards using the Challenge theme, the below card is  a 3D effect.  The text was done using my Cricut draw feature and a glitter pen.

  i

For the last card, I used just the ornament from the same Anna Griffin design. Then I added a few snowflakes, bling and done.

The colors are much darker and brighter than showing.

My craft are has very poor lightening as with the inside of my home.

I've yet found a way to get my pictures to show the true colors, any tips or ideas would be greatly welcomed.

So there you have it, my challenge card spins.

Little Tree....

that I made and will pass along to brighten someone's day!

The tree is  Pinterest inspired and the doilies are cut from card stock using designs from the Cricut Design Space.

For this tree, I decided to use the same patterned material rather than three different prints. I think, I like it better, you can see the other two trees here in the photo.

Next, I'm going to try and make a larger version.... where I can add a few ornaments, wish me luck.

There you have it, little hand sewn Christmas trees!

With the holidays approaching and time is short, I'm rushing to finish up my last few projects.

So.........Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!

Enjoy, blessings and hugs, Lori m

Charlie Brown...

tree.  I knew once I saw Patti's tree, and looked in my Scor Pal book this is the tree for me to make.

It did take me the best of two days to complete and guessing my glue didn't dry quick enough as things are tilted.... sigh.

I added empty ribbon spools of different widths... for a quirky tree look. Well....it's quirky alright and not quite what I had in mind. So this first attempt is my Charlie Brown version, the next one will be as meant to assemble lol.

Same tree different photos, I added some pearls, mini lights and some cut out decorations and text words.

The tree was all scored on my 1/8" Scor Pal and cut with my trimmer.

Decorations are all cutouts done on my Cricut machine along with the text words. All in all, when the lights are on in the dark, its pretty cute.

I'm going to enter this is the Scor Pal Challenge.

Enjoy, blessings and hugs, Lori m

Not a card.....

just another Birthday gift finished and ready to deliver tomorrow.  My Mom will be turning 91 and this year I decided to make her another floral arrangement for her Dining table.  With the floral arrangement I added a table runner which I'm new to making and a couple books as she loves to read.

Here's the picture, the floral arrangement looks lopsided, honest its not, tis my poor photo taking skills lol.

Please excuse my messy craft room....I had so many projects started and need to finish them soon.

Popup Box....

Cards.  This is Pinterest inspired and so much fun to make.  My first attempt at making my own popup box card rather than buying the file.

I used my 1/8's Scor-Pal board for all the folds and then finished the Print and Cuts using files in Cricut Design Space.

Not to shabby for my 1st attempt.

Since my Mom will be 91 years old this month....I thought a humorous card would be in order to make her laugh.

with Cricut infusable ink.

Quick... awesome gifts... and one Tee for Me! Yes, I've been creating with Cricut infusable ink again.

1st up is another Tee shirt I made for myself, something different from the most..... "It's 5 O'Clock somewhere" shirts.

For this shirt I used the Cricut brand Tee's, Cricut Design Space for the images and cutting, along with the Infusable ink markers/pens.

Next up, the Cricut canvas bags, done with Cricut infusable blanks.

That's it for now, next I'm working on my holiday cards and one more Birthday gift a table runner.

Let it snow...

and so it did.  Our first official snow for the season left us with approximately 13 inches of snow in 24 hours, not counting the 2-4 foot snow drifts.

Here's a very blurry photo sorry....first snow for the year!

I will say.....the first snow fall of the year is just glistening and so pretty, now that's over, I'm good for the year.

So with enough snow talk, here's my first cards finished using the amazing cutting files from The Cutting Cafe, that I won the other day.
Thank you again, Regina.

Aren't these just darling and they make me happy thinking of spring and summer.

I have many more cards to finish, running behind once again, someday...I will catch up.

My day....

yesterday.... was about me... lol.

I needed some new Tee shirts, and so..... I decided bling a few I had...purchased that were just plain boring.

After watching a great easy to do.... YouTube video.... on cutting Tee shirt designs, I gave that a go too. ( Quite out of my normal, I must admit. )  Something different.... to switch my wardrobe up a bit.

Here's my designs for the week lol.  I used some of my own hand drawn creations, then added designs from Cricut Design Space.

A few were cotton Tee-Shirts which heat vinyl was used. Since I had a couple polyester Tee's on hand....why not try out the new Cricut Infusable Ink markers?

Might I add...if you haven't tried them run quick and enjoy...oh the fun being able to create your own drawings into washable Tee's, that won't peel off....FANTASTIC indeed!

I can see a future of my photos becoming custom family Tee-shirt designs. The wheels in my head are going round and round!

Can you see the Happy Dance happening here?  Now that I've tested the items..... time to start making holiday gifts.

Being a HUGE  Game Of Thrones fan, you'll notice, the GOT inspired creations!

That's it for today, enjoy, blessings and hugs, Lori m
